Change is in the Eye of the Beholder

I like to think about the British-born saying “Keep Calm and Carry On” when thinking about change.  This saying began as a propaganda poster that the British government produced in 1939 during the beginning of the Second World War.  It was intended to raise the morale of the British public at a very difficult time in history (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keep_Calm_and_Carry_On).  It seems fitting to think about this motto when we are dealing with any sort of change in our personal or professional lives.  It can be helpful to handle the change by keeping calm, staying focused and taking steps to continue to move forward.
